Site Foreman
JOB DESCRIPTION
Smith Builders is seeking a focused individual to supervise and manage job sites for residential and commercial (metal and asphalt) roof replacement projects. This candidate will be responsible for directly supervising and coordinating activities of all team members on site, but must also have the ability to engage in the same construction/roofing trade work as the workers they supervise. Work week is Monday through Friday.
Ideal Candidates:
- Roofing installation and supervision experience (preferred)
- Ability to set up project sites including equipment and scaffolding
- Can identify and correct safety related issues to meet OSHA standards
- Willingness to work with production managers to set daily goals
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills – bilingual in Spanish a huge plus
- Interest in assuring the protection of building and contents
- Can maintain a neat and orderly jobsite
- Has a comprehensive understanding of roof assembly, installation and completion of a functional roof system
- Capable of uploading photos and maintaining CRM files throughout project
- Able to lift and maneuver heavy objects including materials and equipment
- Ability to work at heights and in all temperatures and conditions
- Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record
